Each event in TicketsCandy has its own checkout settings that allow you to control the information customers see and provide during the purchase process.
To access these settings:
- Open your Event Dashboard.
- Click Event Settings in the navigation menu.
- Select Checkout.
The Checkout page allows you to add custom terms, post-purchase messages, and customer information requirements.
Checkout Terms #
The Checkout Terms section allows you to add terms and conditions that customers must agree to before completing their purchase.
You can use this section for policies such as:
- No Refunds or Exchanges – Let customers know that all purchases are final.
- Non-Transferable Tickets – Explain if tickets cannot be transferred to another person.
- Custom Legal or Event-Specific Terms – Add any additional terms, policies, disclaimers, or links that apply to your event.
Customers must accept these terms before they can complete checkout.
Order Confirmation Email #
The Order Confirmation Email section allows you to add a custom message to the confirmation email automatically sent after a successful purchase.
You can use this message to provide information such as:
- Event directions
- Parking instructions
- Dress codes
- Required documents or items
- Arrival instructions
- Other important event details
This information is included along with the customer’s order confirmation and tickets.
Order Confirmation Page #
The Order Confirmation Page section allows you to add a custom message to the page customers see immediately after completing their purchase.
You can use this section for:
- Thank-you messages
- Event reminders
- Important arrival instructions
- Links to additional resources
- Other information customers should see immediately after placing their order
This message is displayed directly on the confirmation page after checkout is completed.
Customer Details #
The Customer Details section controls what customer information is required during checkout.
Make Phone Number Required #
Enable Make Phone Number Required if customers must provide a phone number when entering their information during checkout.
When this setting is enabled, customers will not be able to continue without entering a phone number.
