The Zapier integration allows you to seamlessly connect your event data with over 7,000 apps. With this integration, you can effortlessly pass order and attendee details to your preferred tools, such as CRM platforms, email marketing services, spreadsheets, and more – reducing manual work and improving event management.
How to Enable Zapier #
Zapier is available as an app in the App Marketplace. To enable it:
- Go to Add More Tools in the navigation menu of your Event Dashboard.
- Find the Zapier app in the App Marketplace and enable it.
Once enabled, the Zapier feature will be added to your dashboard for easy access.
Setting Up Zapier #
Once the Zapier app is enabled, a Settings button will appear next to it. Click on this button to access the Zapier Integration Settings.
Zapier Secret Key #
On the settings page, you will find the Zapier Secret Key field. This key is required to authenticate and securely connect TicketsCandy with your Zapier account.
You will need this key when setting up your Zaps in Zapier. The process of linking TicketsCandy and Zapier and creating your first automation will be detailed in the next section.
Popular Zaps #
To help you get started quickly, we’ve curated a list of the most commonly used Zap workflows. These pre-built automations allow you to integrate TicketsCandy with other apps effortlessly.
To use a template:
- Browse the Popular Zaps section within the Zapier Settings page.
- Click Use This Workflow next to the template you want to set up.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to customize the workflow for your needs.
Disconnect Zapier #
- If you wish to remove the integration, click Disconnect App in the settings.
- This will disconnect your TicketsCandy account from Zapier, and reset your Zapier Secret Key, preventing further connections until re-enabled.

Creating Your First Zap with TicketsCandy #
With Zapier, you can automate tasks and connect TicketsCandy to thousands of other apps. In this example, we’ll create a Zap that saves new TicketsCandy orders to Google Sheets.
Step 1: Create a New Zap #
- Log in to Your Zapier Account.
- Click on Zaps in the left-hand menu.
- On the Zaps page, click Create > New Zap to start a new workflow.
Step 2: Configure the Trigger (TicketsCandy) #
- Click on the Trigger block to open a list of available apps.
- Search for TicketsCandy and select it—this will be the app that triggers the workflow.
- The app settings panel will now appear.
App #
The TicketsCandy app will be pre-selected in the App field.
Trigger Event #
Click on Choose an event and select New Order as the trigger.
Account #
- Click on Sign In to connect Zapier to your TicketsCandy account.
- A new window will pop up, requesting your Zapier Secret Key.
Where to Find the Secret Key:
- Open a new tab and log in to your TicketsCandy dashboard.
- Navigate to the event you want to connect to Zapier.
- Click on Add More Tools to enter the App Marketplace.
- Find and enable the Zapier app, then click on Settings.
- Your Zapier Secret Key will be displayed.
- Copy the key, return to the Zapier window, and paste it in the field provided.
- Click “Yes, Continue to TicketsCandy” to complete the connection.
- Go back to your Zap setup page in Zapier.
- You should now see TicketsCandy linked in the Account field.
- Click Continue to proceed.
Test #
- A Test tab will now open.
- Click Test Trigger to ensure Zapier can fetch sample order data.
- If successful, click Continue with Selected Records to move to the next step.
Step 3: Configure the Action (Google Sheets) #
- After completing the trigger setup, a new window will appear for selecting the Action App.
- Search for and select Google Sheets—this app will store the new order details.
App #
The Google Sheets app will be automatically selected in the App field.
Action Event #
Select Create Spreadsheet Row.
Account #
- Click on “Sign In”, and a new window will appear asking you to sign in to your Google account.
- Grant Zapier access to your Google Drive.
- Once connected, your Google account email will be displayed in the Account field.
- Click Continue to proceed.
Step 4: Configure the Spreadsheet #
- The Configure tab will now open.
- In the Drive field, select My Google Drive.
Spreadsheet #
In the Spreadsheet field, choose the Google Sheet where order data will be saved.
Before proceeding, ensure you have:
- Created a Google Sheet in your Drive.
- Added column headers (e.g., Customer First Name, Event Name, Order Date, Ticket Type).
- This allows Zapier to correctly map the incoming data.
Worksheet #
- Choose the worksheet within your spreadsheet.
- Zapier will pull in the headers you created.
- Under each header, click the “+” icon to map the corresponding data from TicketsCandy.
For example:
- Customer First Name → Map to “First Name” from the order.
- Event Name → Map to “Event Name” from the order.
- Order Date → Map to “Order Date” from the order.
Once all fields are mapped, click Continue.
Step 5: Test and Publish the Zap #
- The Test tab will now open.
- Click Test Step to ensure everything is working correctly.
- If the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
Your Zap is now live! Every time a new order is placed on TicketsCandy, the selected order details will be automatically added to your Google Sheet—no manual input required!
