The TikTok Pixel allows you to track user behavior, ticket purchases, and interactions on your TicketsCandy event page and ticketing widget. By integrating TikTok Pixel, you can optimize your ad campaigns, retarget users, and measure conversion rates more effectively.
How to Enable TikTok Pixel #
TikTok Pixel is available as an app in the App Marketplace. To enable it:
- Go to Add More Tools in the navigation menu of your Event Dashboard.
- Find the TikTok Pixel app in the App Marketplace and enable it.
Once enabled, the TikTok Pixel feature will be added to your dashboard for easy access.
TikTok Pixel Integration #
Before integrating TikTok Pixel with TicketsCandy, you need to create a Pixel in TikTok Business Manager and install it on your website.
While setting up the TikTok Pixel, follow these options:
- Connect Data Source – Select Web.
- Add Your Website – Skip this step.
- Choose Data Connection Method – Select Manual Setup.
- On the next page select: TikTok Pixel.
- Pixel Name: Enter any name.
- Install Base Code – Follow the TikTok installation instructions to add the base pixel code to your website.
- Manage Configurations – Leave settings at default.
- Set Up Events – Click “Switch to Custom Code”. In the next window, ensure the following event categories are selected:
- Consideration Events:
- Add Payment Info
- Add to Cart
- Initiate Checkout
- Conversion Events:
- Place an Order
- Implement Event Code – Skip this step.
- Verify Pixel Setup – Click Finish.
After setting up your TikTok Pixel, you will need to retrieve the Pixel ID and connect it to TicketsCandy.
- Go to TikTok Events Manager.
- Click on Data Sources.
- Find your newly created Pixel in the list.
- Your Pixel ID will be displayed on the Pixel card.
- Copy the Pixel ID from TikTok Events Manager.
- Log into your TicketsCandy dashboard.
- Navigate to the TikTok Pixel settings.
- Paste the Pixel ID into the “Pixel ID” section.
- Click Save Details to finalize the integration.
Your TikTok Pixel is now connected to TicketsCandy, allowing you to track ticket purchases, checkout behaviors, and conversions directly within your TikTok Ads Manager.
Checkout Event Names for TikTok #
TikTok Pixel automatically tracks specific checkout events during a customer’s ticket purchase process. These events provide insight into customer interactions and sales funnel performance.
1. Checkout Stage – Customer #
When a customer initiates the checkout process, the following events are triggered:
- TikTok Event Name: AddToCart
2. Checkout Stage – Details #
During this step, customers select their booking dates, answer custom questions, and can add additional products to their order. Depending on the event settings, this stage may or may not appear. If it does appear, these are the triggered events:
- TikTok Event Name: InitiateCheckout
3. Checkout Stage – Billing #
As the customer proceeds to enter their billing information, the subsequent events get triggered:
- TikTok Event Name: AddPaymentInfo
4. Checkout Stage – Order Receipt (completed order) #
Once the order is finalized and the customer receives their receipt, the following events get triggered:
- TikTok Event Name: PlaceAnOrder
