Remarketing

2 min read

Remarketing App

Remarketing is a powerful feature designed to re-engage potential customers who have shown interest in your event but did not complete their ticket purchase. By intelligently identifying these visitors, the system enables you to send them a customized email reminder, encouraging them to finalize their booking.

Why Use Remarketing? #

  • Increase Ticket Sales Effortlessly – Automatically remind potential attendees about your event.
  • Encourage Conversions – Offering a discount in remarketing emails has been proven to boost conversions by 20%.
  • Stay Connected – Keep your event top-of-mind for interested visitors.

How to Enable Remarketing #

Remarketing is available as an app in the App Marketplace. To enable it:

  • Go to Add More Tools in the navigation menu of your Event Dashboard.
  • Find the Remarketing app in the App Marketplace and enable it.

Once enabled, the Remarketing feature will be added to your dashboard for easy access.

Remarketing Email Settings #

Best Practices for Remarketing Emails

For optimal results, we recommend offering an exclusive discount in your remarketing emails. Discounts provide a strong incentive for customers to return and complete their ticket purchase. Our default remarketing email templates are already designed to include special offers for returning customers.

Email Subject #

By default, the system generates a pre-written subject line optimized for high engagement. However, you can modify it to better match your event’s branding and audience.

Email Message #

The message field comes with a proven email template designed to encourage customers to complete their ticket purchase. You can customize this template by:

  • Adding your own branding and tone.
  • Including specific event details that make the email more compelling.
  • Offering a discount code to increase conversions.

Note: To ensure discount codes work in your remarketing emails, the “Discount Codes” app must be enabled in your App Marketplace.

To make your emails more engaging and personal, use the following dynamic placeholders:

  • Insert First Name – Clicking this button will insert %FIRSTNAME%, which automatically replaces with the customer’s first name in the email.
  • Insert Last Name – Clicking this button will insert %LASTNAME%, which automatically replaces with the customer’s last name in the email.

These variables ensure a personalized experience for each recipient.

Email Preview #

At the bottom of the Remarketing Email settings, there is a Preview Email button. Clicking this will open a popup window where you can see how the email will appear to your customers.

In the actual email:

  • %FIRSTNAME% and %LASTNAME% will be replaced by the customer’s actual name.
  • If your event page has a logo and main image, they will be included in the email automatically.
  • A “Get Your Tickets Now” button will be added at the bottom, linking directly to your event page.
  • Your event venue details will also be included.

Saving & Activating Remarketing Emails #

Once you have customized your email:

  • Click Save Settings to store your changes.
  • After saving, the remarketing tool will activate automatically, sending emails to potential customers who abandoned their ticket purchases.

This ensures that every interested customer gets a second chance to buy tickets, increasing your event’s attendance and revenue.

Reports: Tracking Remarketing Performance #

The performance of the Remarketing tool is tracked in real time and can be accessed under Reports > Remarketing in the left-hand menu of your dashboard. These reports provide key insights into how effectively your remarketing emails are driving ticket sales.

Key Metrics Available in the Remarketing Report: #

  • Emails Sent – The total number of remarketing emails sent to potential customers.
  • Website Visits – The number of users who clicked the link in the remarketing email and visited your event page.
  • Orders – The number of ticket orders completed after customers clicked through to the event page from the remarketing email.
  • Gross Sales – The total revenue generated from remarketing-driven orders.
