To create and manage tickets for your event, navigate to your Event Dashboard and select Tickets. Then, click on the “Create Ticket” button in the top right corner of the page. This will open a new page where you can set up and customize ticket details.
Ticket Types #
When creating a new ticket, you’ll first need to select a ticket type, which determines how the ticket behaves and what it’s used for. Each type serves a unique purpose and affects how availability and access are managed.
This article focuses on the “Pass” type—recurring access, such as monthly or annual passes.
To learn more about the other ticket types, click on their names below:
- Ticket – Standard admission for a specific date or time slot. Ideal for one-time entry.
- Pass – Designed for recurring or extended access, such as weekly, monthly, or annual passes.
- Addon Item – Supplemental items or services (e.g., merchandise, rentals, upgrades) that do not count toward time slot capacity.
- Donation – Allows attendees to make a voluntary contribution. Useful for fundraisers or support options; does not affect time slot limits.
Important: The ticket type cannot be changed after the ticket is created, so select carefully.
Ticket Name #
This is the name of the ticket, which will be visible to customers on your ticketing page and on e-tickets after purchase.
Ticket Description #
You can provide additional details about the ticket in the Ticket Description field.
- Default Behavior: The description is initially hidden to save space, with an option to expand.
- Always Expanded: Check the “Description Always Expanded” box to make the description permanently visible.
Ticket Price #
Set the price for the ticket under Ticket Price. If you’re offering a discounted rate, enter the reduced price in the Discount Price field.
Quantity Available #
Specify the total number of tickets available for sale under Quantity Available.
- Leave blank if tickets are unlimited (e.g., for ongoing events such as museums).
Tickets Per Order #
Control how many tickets a customer can purchase in a single order by setting minimum and maximum limits under Tickets Per Order (Min-Max).
Start Sale On / End Sale On #
- Start Sale On: The date the ticket becomes available for sale. Leave blank to activate immediately.
- End Sale On: The date ticket sales end. Leave blank to keep the ticket available indefinitely.
Ticket Icon #
Add a visual element to your ticket by selecting a Ticket Icon, which will appear next to the ticket name on the ticketing widget.
Total Scan Limit #
Set the maximum number of times a pass can be scanned. Leave this field empty for unlimited uses.
#
Restrict the pass to one scan per calendar day. After being scanned, it cannot be used again until the next day.
Pass Length Options #
You can define the duration of a pass using one of two methods: Time Frame or Exact Dates.
Time Frame #
Specify how long the pass is valid starting from the purchase date.
- Validity Period In Days: Enter the number of days the pass remains valid. For example:
- 30 for a monthly pass
- 365 for an annual pass
- Leave this field empty for no expiration.
The countdown starts at 12:00 AM on the day of purchase, regardless of the time it was bought, and ends at 11:59 PM on the final day. For example, if a customer purchases a pass on January 1 at 2:00 PM with a 5-day duration, it will be valid from Jan 1 at 12:00 AM through Jan 5 at 11:59 PM.
Exact Dates #
Manually define the start and end dates during which the pass can be used.
- Activation Date: The date the pass becomes valid. Leave empty for immediate activation.
- Expiration Date: The date the pass expires and can no longer be scanned. Leave empty for no expiration.
Passes set with exact dates are valid from 12:00 AM on the start date until 11:59 PM on the end date.
Display Sold Out #
Enable the Display Sold Out option to keep sold-out tickets visible on your event page instead of automatically hiding them.
When activated, tickets that have reached their sales limit will be marked as “Sold Out”, allowing attendees to see which options were available but are no longer for sale.
This feature helps create urgency, builds demand, and reassures potential buyers about ticket popularity.
Cannot Be Sold Individually #
Use this setting to require tickets to be sold alongside others (e.g., children’s tickets sold only with adult tickets).
Hide This Ticket #
Select “Hide This Ticket” to prevent the ticket from appearing on the widget while keeping it saved for future use.
Save Ticket #
Once all fields are filled out, click Create Ticket in the bottom-right corner to save your ticket.
