The **Tracking Links** tool allows you to create unique URLs for your marketing campaigns across various channels, such as **emails, social media posts, paid ads, and print materials**. When potential buyers click these links, the system tracks visits and ticket orders, providing **detailed performance reports** for each link.

## Why Use Tracking Links?

- **Measure Marketing Effectiveness** – Track which platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, emails) generate the most ticket sales.
- **Optimize Marketing Strategies** – Identify high-performing channels and allocate more resources to what works.
- **Simplify Data Analysis** – View key insights like unique visits, page views, and revenue from each tracking link.

For example, you can create:

- A **Facebook ad tracking link** to measure how many sales come from paid social media promotions.
- An **email campaign tracking link** to see how many attendees purchase after receiving a newsletter.

By comparing performance across different sources, you can optimize your marketing efforts for better results.

## How to Enable Tracking Links

Tracking Links are available as an app in the **App Marketplace**. To enable it:

- Go to **Add More Tools** in the navigation menu of your **Event Dashboard**.
- Find the **Tracking Links**app in the App Marketplace and enable it.

Once enabled, the Tracking Links feature will be added to your dashboard for easy access.

## Creating a Tracking Link

- Navigate to the **Tracking Links** page.
- Click the **Create Tracking Link** button.
- In the popup window, select the **Destination** for your tracking link:
  - **TicketsCandy event page** - Sends visitors to your event page hosted by TicketsCandy.
  - **Organizer website** - Sends visitors to a page on your website where the TicketsCandy ticket widget is embedded.
- Enter a **Tracking Link Name**.
  - This name serves as the identifier for the tracking link.
  - Choose a name that helps you easily recognize the campaign, such as **Facebook_Ad** or **Email_BlackFriday**.
  - Use only Latin letters, numbers, and underscores.
- Depending on the selected destination:
  - For **TicketsCandy event page**, your event page URL is used automatically.
  - For **Organizer website**, enter the **Website URL** of the page where the TicketsCandy ticket widget is embedded. The URL must be valid.
- Click **Create Link** to generate the tracking link.
- The new tracking link will be added to your **Tracking Links List**, where you can copy and use it in your marketing campaigns.
