# Account Settings

To access your account settings, open your **Organizer Dashboard**, click **Settings** in the left navigation menu, and then select **My Account**.

The **My Account** page contains your account owner information and password settings.

## Account Owner

At the top of “**Account Settings**” is “**Account Owner**” section. This is where you can change the name of the owner, as well as the main email address associated with the account. If you would like to receive order notifications through a different email address or your business email address has changed, this is where you can make that change.

Be sure to click “**Save Account Details**” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

## Change Password

This section allows you to change your password by entering a new one under the “**New Password**” section and then confirming the new password. You will need to enter the old password where it says “**Old Password**” in order to create a new one.

If you can’t remember your password, you can always click “[Forgot Password](https://ticketscandy.com/login/forgot-password)” on the login page to reset it.

Be sure to click “**Save Account Details**” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

## Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code from an authenticator app during login.

### Setup

To enable 2FA, click the **Set Up Authenticator** button in the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section. A popup will open with setup instructions.

#### Authenticator App QR Code

A QR code will be displayed. Scan this code using Google Authenticator or any TOTP-compatible app.

After scanning, the app will generate a verification code.

#### Confirm Two-Factor Authentication

Enter the verification code from your authenticator app into the **Authentication Code** field, then click **Verify** to complete the setup.

#### Recovery Codes

After successful verification, a list of recovery codes will be shown.

These codes can be used to log in if you lose access to your authenticator app.

- Store them in a safe place
- Each code can be used only once

After saving your codes, click **Done**.

The Two-Factor Authentication section will then show:

- Status: Enabled
- The date it was activated

### Remove 2FA

To remove or reset 2FA, click the trash icon in the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section.

Once removed, you can set it up again at any time.

## Regional Preferences

Control how TicketsCandy appears both to you and to your customers. It also provides information about your account currency, which determines the currency used across all events under your account.

### Default Public Event Language

Sets the default language displayed on your event pages, checkout flow, ticketing widgets, and other customer-facing content. You can choose from **English, Spanish,** and **French**.

This setting applies to all events by default. If a specific event needs to use a different language, you can change its **Public Event Language** individually under [Event Settings](https://help.ticketscandy.com/kb/event-settings-general/#13-toc-title).

### Admin Dashboard Language

Sets the language for your organizer dashboard, including event tools and management. You can choose from **English, Spanish,** and **French**.

The currency shown in this field cannot be changed, as it is tied to your account region for compliance and payment processing purposes. It is provided for information only to ensure clarity when managing events and transactions.
